Meet the Founder: Cassian Bellino
Raised in both non-denominational and Russian Orthodox traditions, I went to church every Sunday—but my faith felt lukewarm. I believed in God, but something was missing. Then God made it clear—I needed real conversations. Biblical scholars explaining the Living Word in a way that made sense to a curious, sometimes confused, Christian like me.
I ask the questions we all wish we could raise our hand in church and ask. Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Getting these answers in my faith helps me actually get to know the God who sent His Son to die for our sins, so we can spend our time on earth loving Him with every part of our being.

I can’t tell you how glad I am that I found Biblically Speaking! I really like the variety of theologians and scholars that Cassian interviews; my favorite thing to do is randomly scroll through her Instagram page and just tap on a frame to be surprised who she has interviewed and what the subject is. I’m not sure I could take a class in theology, but this often gives a short edited version, that I can later listen to on Spotify. I really also like the daily scripture readings, I just put the sound on while I’m driving or on my break at work, but where I think Cassia shines the most is when she answers questions live, her animated presents and energy really lift my spirits!
